Back to the Grind.
Am currently updating my links - tho even that seems tedious since I am desperately awaiting my fate with regards to finding a host. *wince and checks out blog comment boxes properly* -- Not to mention having to overhaul everything (links included) since everything on my blog seems to be going bonkers. Gyah. So basically, shameless as it's going to sound (and rather annoying prolly in Maia and Harle's cases) these are the things I am in need of and will likely figure out a way to find/pay for/request should the opportunity arise: a. A HOST. I'm basically tired of having to maintain separate identities and urls for my work, my blog, my music and everything in-between. I am in constant envy of this one's location and the fact that her layout is gorgeous, and she has the opprtunity to worr, possibly only of her impending url move and the next version of her template. That, I have yet to have the luxury of doing. b. An artist to help me put down into CG-color and form the images of BtPH (Beyond the Phantasm of Humanity) who are the proposed images for the website template I have in mind. Naturally, everyone is busy with school, the Christmas rush and other such things, and I understand that... it doesn't lessen my antsy-ness though, or that fact that I am scouting, alongside thinking of saving up to pay the artist who knocks on my door. c. Help in template design and actualization since I am an admitted novice in that department and have yet to dare in fiddling with the applications my dad has installed in our computer. I may have Dreamweaver - but I sure as hell have no idea as to how the effing thing works. d. Someone who understands the complexities of Enetation or anyone who can hand me a copy of How to use Enetation without botching it for Dummies. As it is plain enough to see, I am... to put it kindly - lost. Mrf. And my stubbornness aside, I really do need help. Grf. The Haven is digressing into little or nothing and I just want to fix all the clutter since, for the oddest reason, the HK trip has made me a little OC - obsessive-compulsive with regards to my stuff. Well, that's that. We move on. With regards to the comments that I have seemingly failed to note considering that the counter for my comment boxes has gone nutz on me (again)... I have these comments to file out. Mai - ^^ Heheheheh... that's a one-time-only event Mai. I have still to figure out if I'll be going next year, or in the other events that the team has seemingly been invited to (*whistles* Singapore... Taiwan...)... afterall, it was our money that we shelled out for the occassion and Team RP only has so much with regards to personal resources. We are, however, scanning and praying for sponsors since we are now, supposedly, an official Philippines Team. Gyeh. Any takers? Heh. Athens - Sorry luv, though Jacs' favored line seems to be "Gels... gels... and questionables!" as of late - there is no one in the relationship market that you are speaking of. Naturally, the gorgeous women of Team RP are either a) attached to their hubbies and have been so for quite some time now, or b) single, but veer to the males. There is naturally, the question of whether I am or am not going to swing in the other direction, but I doubt that you'd come after me, and there is also the factor of my eyes roving in the direction of the supposedly single men that were roaming the area. *sighs deflated* unfortunately, my eyes seem to be the only ones roaming. *bitter tone* I deserves a koala. Hmph..! EJ/UBe - *huggles and crushes EJ in a bear hug* missedyoumissedyoumissedyou! Heheheh... sorry for the lack of pasalubong in your direction - had only so much cash to spend (on food... on water... on chocolate drinks and beer...^^) and I didn't know what to get you in the first place. Add to that the fact that haggling in Ladies' Market is hell. The madness of it! A knit blouse for $90HK?!?!?!?! Bleedin' blistering hell! I could get that for 250 at GreenHills! And I could likely haggle it down to 180 for the love of everything! JC - No prob, darling. Always willing to give you input on anything. Feel free to ask anytime.^^ Harle - Kasi, convince your dad that with the right padding and skill you can get away with anything.^^ Heheheh... you'd make an excellent center - but that's just me being slightly biased since I have yet to see you aim and shoot.^^ As for 'the bod' that Maia claims I am getting - it is nowhere near my goal yet since I have a tummy to flatten and legs and arms to trim. Mrf... still not enough since I have yet to be photogenic in the pictures - I had them developed before I waltzed over to Jerry's place last Saturday for the dispedida he was throwing.^^ Negatives are with TJ-dearest, and the party in itself has interesting side stories that I will relay in person. The gist of the evening, however, I will place here. First - me and Dad got lost on the way to Alabang. GYAH! What the heck?! Do you guys have any idea that on one side of the road the signs say one thing (example: Pina Dr.) and on the other another totally different fruit (sample: Chico)! And the roads are misaligned by a mere inch or two! Gyeh... oih... Thgen, after maneuvering our way to the house, having dinner (wonderful pizza from Pizza Hut! Sumptious spaghetti c/o Jerry!), took a swig of Jacs' red-looking drink. Downed a bottle of San Mig Light, add in a plastic cup of the Kurant mixed w/ sprite, a shot of Chivas Regal chased with sprite, add another few glasses of San Mig before I ended up sitting out the rest of the 'car' card game, Jacs standing in my stead to drink water in the kitchen and let out a small amount of my dinner and the alcohol I'd downed. Blah. No mess, thankfully, and I returned to watching a new card game that Roach had supplied (for every card there is a correspondin meaning), took a few more sips of San Mig before Dad showed up to pick me up at around 11:30 pm. All in all, that is the latest update in my life. Heheh...^^ melina @ 4:55:00 PM )O( |
