I've finally figured out how to fix the bleedin' messageboard and am enjoying myself quite a bit, thank you.^^
Yoi, Athens. *sticks tongue out and laughs* I don't know whether I should be insulted or flattered. Heh.^^;; Trust me, looking at me toting the huge bag (formerly a sleeping bag's bag) around in Festival Mall and in school - I look nothing like a "jock". In fact, D and I end up getting looks that more or less say: what the heck??? rather than anything else.^^
I'm still the same old Mel, it's just that I finally now know how to play the sport I've been semi-obsessing over since I was 9.
Announcements: ..Mai has a gorgeous new layout.
..Marc is one heck of a 'magician' with the playing cards.
Which happens to be the basic gist of a lot of things.
Btw, congratulations to a job well done to all those who took the UPCAT. I've got my fingers crossed for all of you (but if that place or *rolls eyes in sarcasm* the Ateneo refuses to take you in, DLSU's just 'round the bend.^^ Heheheh... yaaaak! Shameless plugging!^^)
Okay... before anything else I'll update people on how the RinX Tournament is goin':
>>--> DLSU Blades have a current standing of 2 lose, 1 win. The two losses are (in my book), slightly excused because a) the Sta. Fe White has JR and that guy is fast - so fast it's annoying. >.< And then b) because Sta. Fe Red has Roach, Zoltan (Is the spelling right? Eh? Whatever - for those of you who have no clue - this guy played hockey on a professional level - or so I've been told) and Marco (the official heartthrob as far as several people are concerned) on their side. Gyeh. So if that's not qualified for an *ouch* I dunno what is...
This weekend though, we're goin' up against the Reds again minus the pro, and hopefully the 7-4 score will be narrowed down, or *crosses fingers* - I hope we win.
>>--> Sunday training is *thumbs up* one of the things I look forward to now on weekends, and I don't give a shit if other people can't understand how I can enjoy the torture of 3-4 hours of training. The answer to that is simple: I LOVE THE GAME.
The rush. The speed. The split second where I think I can almost fly.
Not there yet though. But with Gemini (I was thinking of calling them another name, but I think that name'll be reserved for the Mission skates - dream skates!!! that I will likely beg my relatives in the States for...^^) at my feet - HAH! I get the slightest taste of heaven.
Yaaaak! Baduy! ^^;;
NEXT...
>>--> I've just purchased (and properly cut down to the right size for me) - Aries, my new stick. CCM, Thornton Heat (that's the type), he's a real beaut considering that I'll only be using him for Gameworx... (-_-;; oih... that sounded wrong...)
And I got a stickbag along with that. Mrf. ^^;; Heheheheh...
Mrf...
Mai'nee? Is the Lloyd who commented on the fooble... Lloyd??? Because I blinked about ten times before it sank in. >.< Heheheh...
For Lloyd:Grabe the excuse pare! ^^;; Sabi ni Jacs may (and I quote:) 'Parent-Teacher chuva' ka daw na inattend...? Whooo!!! Palusot! ^^ To think mga bata ang kalaban niyo nung Sabado!
--> Bakit Lloyd: may anak ka na ba? ^^ Heheheh... anung grade? *blinks innocently* Eh... di... ang gurang mo na pala!!!! ^^ Tee-hee...
Peace tayo mon ami! ^^ Ngek! In French pa! ^^
)O(
Anyway... on other news, I am officially the owner of the most gorgeous Faeries' Oracle tarot deck [let it be known that my Mom is shooing me off... gyeh...] given graciously by the lovely Harle who might soon relocate to a new blog url.^^ Eh. Ich.
I am now going to finish up fixing what little there is of the club's forum [still currently under MASSIVE construction]... i bid you farewell mes amis...

She is a Wiccan by choice with Roman Catholic roots thanks to her parents and believes everything has a reason, and that

She is surrently studying at De La Salle University and will be taking up Behavioral Sciences come 1st term, 2003.
Her great loves include her music, dancing, writing, reading, hockey, Tolkien, Dragonlance, the Mighty Ducks (both animated

She is known in various names such as Mel, Lina, Mia D (Devlin?), Noelle/Noey, Noei, Nyre, Lynne, Lillie, Noele,
Nibblet...all depending on what fandom/ mood/ life/ timeframe/ universe she's in. (MPD anyone?)
She wishes she were part Irish, is desperately learning how to speak Gaelic (and Cajun) and dreams of setting foot in New Orleans
in time for Mardi Gras, or on the shores of Ireland for Midsummer's Eve.
In the absence of a REAL lovelife, Mr.Bugholds the monopoly of my heart.^^

"I love Amy Lee from Evanescence and admire her style in singing. Her voice is heartbreaking
and it just gets to you. I'm not saying I want to be her, but
to be able to sing as good as she can, and as honest as she can... that's enough."
